CONGRATULATIONS to The Lady Pirates Softball team on their 3rd place finish in the 10 team Fairfield Tournament. They went 3-1 over the weekend with wins over Carmi, Salem and Woodlawn. 

Softball and Baseball games at Eldorado starting at 4:30.

All girls basketball players need to turn in their basketball gear to Coach Forthman as soon as possible.  A bill will be sent home if you don't return your stuff!

All boys basketball players need to turn in their uniforms to Coach Simmons this week.  Turn in both Jr. and Varsity uniforms.

Cheerleader tryout sign-up form is on the office door window.  The cheer packet is on the lobby table.


Any student going to prom who is short of funds, please see Mrs. Potts to arrange a time to come in to look a Prom dresses.

Leukemia and Lymphoma Society fundraiser!!  Check out the chart to see what Mr. Evenson is willing to do for money donated for this important cause!  Please be generous and bring in change!

Monday is the last day to sign up (outside Mrs. Potts' office) for any junior or senior interested in going to the SIU Regional College Fair on March 28.  
THIS FRIDAY IS HAT DAY.....bring $1, wear your hat
We are still taking donations of gently used prom dresses for a prom dress drive.  Anyone wanting to donate their prom dresses can drop with off with Mrs. Potts or Mrs. Markovic.

Lady Pirates Softball, listen up! We will ONLY be hitting in the cage today. Bus riders will hit 8th hour. Drivers will hit after. If you are going to the games this weekend you will hit a few times through. The bus will leave at 1:30 tomorrow to go to the Fairfield Tournament to take on Carmi.

Hometown Heroes 2018-19 Project
10/25/2018
PCHS freshmen and seniors will be working together on a community improvement project. The Hometown Heroes are excited to announce that this year’s project focuses on the Eddyville area. They are hoping to build Pirate Park in the Village of Eddyville by improving the already existing basketball goals and adding benches and playground equipment.

Both Teams Win GEC
Cross Country Teams Win GEC
10/25/2018
Congratulations to both of our High School Cross Country teams! Boys and Girls both got 1st place at the GEC Conference Cross Country Invitational. Pope County had 2 medal winners, Keely Clay finished 5th and Jackson Eddington won the boys race.
