Caps and Lids for a Bench

Pope County School District will be working with Green Tree Plastics out of Evansville, Indiana this year. Through their ABC Promise Partnership, we will be collecting plastic lids and caps to turn in towards a bench for our playground.
You can send lids to the school at any time with your child. The children will be sorting and weighing our lids until we reach the amount required for our bench. We are excited to use this project as a way to teach counting, sorting, and recycling.
Please send "clean" lids. Things could get a little sticky if the lids have not been washed off.
